With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Lund of South Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 30, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Helen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her cousins, Joel Jansky of Dorchester and Andrew Jansky of Braintree. She is survived by: her husband John Shank; and her cousins, Ronald Jansky of North Carolina, Karen Jansky of West Newbury, Alisha Jansky of Cambridge, Christine Jansky of Roslindale, Mary Fennessy (Jansky) of Braintree, Donna Jansky of Hopedale, Brian Jansky of Hingham and Allison Eaton (Jansky) of Danvers.
