With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helena Whitney of South Boston, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Helena left this world on November 24, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Whitney and Frances Whitney (Giglio); her siblings, Carol Ann Whitney, George Whitney, Maryiane Walls, Janet Victoria, Maria Whitney, Thomas Whitney and Joseph Whitney; and the father of her child Francis Dame.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Whitney Dame of Easton; and her siblings, Paul "Jimmy" Whitney of Florida and Linda Whitney of South Boston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services (605 Washington St, South Easton, MA 02375). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (193 Main St, North Easton, MA 02356).
