He was predeceased by: his sibling Nicky (Paula Calla); his parents, Rita O'Neal Calla and Nicholas Calla; and his siblings, Billy, Jackie Calla and Rita Vaillancourt.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Calla; his children, Michelle Calla and Johnny Melluso (Lynne); his grandchildren, Kristyn, Andrew Rice, Colleen, Nicholas Bellotti, Samantha, Christopher Coraine, Jimmy Melluso, Mathew Melluso and Johnny Melluso; his sisters, Betty (Bob Karsokas), Peggy Calla, Phyllis Ciardello and Janice Marsh (Jim Marsh); Jean Vaillancourt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (234 Pleasant St, South Weymouth, MA 02190).
