He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Theresa Dwyer; his parents, Lawrence Dwyer and Eileen Dwyer; his brother Kevin Dwyer; his mother-in-law Anna Viani; his siblings-in-law, Donna McIntosh and Jack McDonough; and his niece Catherine McDonough.
He is survived by: his daughter Kaitlyn Weafer (Jason) of South Boston; his granddaughters, Emma and Grace Elizabeth; his nieces and nephews, Ellen McDonough, Colin, Kelsey, Joseph, Francis, Matthew, Michael, Timothy, Declan and John Dwyer; and his brother-in-law Robert McIntosh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (146 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Church (615 E 4th St, South Boston, MA 02127).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Larry to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
