He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary A. Cadogan (Conneely); his children, Patrick Cadogan (Janet), Mollie Ritz (Thomas), Paul Cadogan (Patty) and Julie McGrail (Brian); his grandchildren, T. J., Kat, Tina, Mike, Grace, Abigail, Olivia, Patricia, Patrick, Jaclyn and Madelyn; and his brother Neil Cadogan. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home (740 Adams St, Dorchester, MA 02122). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brendan's Church (589 Gallivan Blvd, Boston, MA 02124).
