He was predeceased by: his father Philip Devlin, Sr.. He is survived by: his friend Ricky Coyne; his mother Frances "Lucky" Devlin (Herron); his siblings, Philip Devlin Jr. (Patti), Robert Devlin, William Devlin (Linda), Michael Devlin (Darlene), Christopher Devlin (Paula), Kerry Ann Devlin (Mark Palombo) and Patrick Devlin; his friend Lisa Gregorio; and his pet Oreo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (146 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brigid Church.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Russell may be made to The Gavin Foundation 675 E. 4th St. South Boston.
