He was predeceased by: his parents, James Colby and Rose Colby (Dauwer); his wife Ann (Brown); and his sister Dorothy (Dottie). He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jr. of South Boston, Karen (Brian) of Raynham, Cheryl (John) of Bridgewater, Kimberly (Lorenzo) of Malden and John (Elizabeth) of Peabody; his grandchildren, Tammy, Richard (Richie), Brendan, Emily, Brianna, Brett and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Adam, Kennedy, Gemma, James, Nathan and Ann; and his siblings, Alice Tallent, Cynthia Jones, Barbara (Barbie), James (Jimmy), Grace (Sissy), John Michael and Patricia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casper Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Church (615 E 4th St, South Boston, MA 02127).
