He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Peter Scanlon and Alice Cecilia (Ryan); his siblings, Margaret Scanlon, Nancy Scanlon, Donald Scanlon, Butch Scanlon and Mary Scanlon Sumner; his wife Margery Scanlon (Podlesney); his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Tom Hoffa of East Longmeadow, MA; his son Dr. Michael; his daughter-in-law Dr. Karla Scanlon of Columbia, CT; his son Thomas Jr.; his daughter-in-law Holly Scanlon of South Deerfield, MA; his grandchildren, Jacob Scanlon of Glastonbury, CT, Kersten, Kaitlyn Scanlon of Columbia, CT, Samantha and Sydney Scanlon of South Deerfield, MA; Stillborn Scanlon. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
