He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron E. Jr. Wilcox and Catherine L. Wilcox; and his brother Edward "Tod" Wilcox. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Alger-Wilcox; his son Patrick of Montana; his sister Judie Ritchie of Maryland; his stepsons, Richard (Charlene Alger) of Centerville and Jon "Bubba" (Rachel Alger) of Brewster; and his sister-in-law Diana Wilcox of South Yarmouth. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and eight grandchildren.
