He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardner Acker and Mildred Acker (Starr). He is survived by: his wife Christine "Tina" Acker (Veneri); his children, Aidan Ackerman (Maura) and Abby O'Connor (Barry); and his grandchildren, Izzie, Max Ackerman, Lily and Brady O'Connor.
