We bid farewell to Lois J. Carr of South Hadley, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 20, 2026 at the age of 89. Lois touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Perkins Strong and Pinella W. (Merriman). She is survived by: her husband E. Wilson Carr; her children, Sandra (Dean Lamontagne) of Belchertown and Preston of South Hadley; and her grandsons, Maxwell and Marc Lamontagne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beers & Story Funeral Homes - South Hadley (646 Newton St, South Hadley, MA 01075). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
