We announce the death of Lorraine A. (Labrie) Grant of South Hadley, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Labrie and Dora J. Labrie Jubinville (Dubuc); her significant other Theodore H. "Ted" Grant; her son Gary George Grant; and her sister Irene Bledsoe (Deacon John Bledsoe).
She is survived by: her son Michael T. Grant (Lynne Conroy) of East Hartford, CT; her granddaughters, Sara Grant (Matt), Stephanie Gardiner (Tim) and Megan Graefe (Julius); her great grandchildren, Gwenevere, Grant Gardiner and Leonie Graefe; and her friend Sister Marlene Mucha. She is also survived by nieces, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels (506 Britton St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Saint Patrick Church (30 N Main St, South Hadley, MA 01075).
