Marilyn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Marilyn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Marilyn is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Marilyn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Zirk and Thelma Zirk (Whitmire); her brother James Scott Zirk; and her brother-in-law Raymond Swain. She is survived by: her sisters, Flora Swain of Goose Creek, SC and Mary Beth Zirk-Perez (Ruben Perez) of Bradenton, FL.; and her sister-in-law Laverne Zirk of St. Augustine, FL.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Mount Holyoke College Scholarship Fund, the Pioneer Valley Symphony Chorus, the South Hadley Chorale or Berkshire Choral International.
