With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark A. Charest of South Hadley, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Charest and Evelyn Charest (Conklin); and his siblings, Dennis Charest and Sandra Hagan. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Charest (Rys); his daughters, Ciara of Granby, MA and Lea of Granby, MA; his siblings, Russell (Gary), Kenneth, Kathleen, Linda, Michael (Marianne), Patricia Saccamando (Michael) and Diane Greene; and his sister-in-law Tricia Charest. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
