It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur J. Towne of South Hamilton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Towne and Ethel Towne of Essex, Massachusetts.. He is survived by: his wife Jean L. Scott; his children, Janice L. Towne DiGiaimo (Michael) of New Jersey, Julie A. Towne, Scott E. Towne and Eric A. Towne of New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Justin Towne (Allison) of Massachusetts, William Towne of Massachusetts, Anthony Colon of Massachusetts, Eric Towne II of Massachusetts, Ryan Towne of Massachusetts, Marc DiGiaimo (Alexandra) of Pennsylvania, Matthew DiGiaimo (Jeena), Angela DiGiaimo and Liam Towne of California; and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Diana Towne of Massachusetts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (525 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (50 Union St, South Hamilton, MA 01982). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Spring Street Cemetery.
