John J. Mahaney Obituary
We announce the death of John J. Mahaney of South Hamilton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mahaney and Mary Mahaney (Hanley); his wife Doris T. Mahaney (Kenney); his sister Mary Ann Sullivan; and his brother-in-law Tom Coughlin.
He is survived by: his children, John M. Mahaney of South Hamilton, Mark J. Mahaney (Barbara) of Pittsfield and Jennifer Phynn of South Hamilton; his grandsons, Ryan Mahaney of Chatham, Harry Phynn and Greg Phynn of Horsham, PA; and his sister Kathy Coughlin of Littleton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (525 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Paul (50 Union St, South Hamilton, MA 01982).
