It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire M. Sullivan of South Weymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 2, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Claire M. Sullivan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary A. Canniff, (Sullivan) and Edward T. "Tad" Canniff, Sr. (Raised); her spouses, Dr. Paul J. Sullivan and D. P. M.; Mary Lou Donovan, Kathleen A. Hansen, Maureen E. Valkanas and William S. Canniff.
She is survived by: her caregiver Mattapan Chronic Disease Hospital; her sons, David J. Sullivan (Andrea) of Stoughton and Ted Sullivan (Mandy) of Conway, S. C.; her grandchildren, Olivia, Madeleine and Claire Sullivan; and her siblings, Edward T. Canniff, Jr. of Mattapan and Susan A. Gillis (Thomas) of Hyde Park. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Brothers Home For Funerals (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Church (44 School St, Quincy, MA 02169).
