He is survived by: his spouse Leslie Altman; his children, Celia (Chris Downey), Adam Brightman, Nick Brightman (Sadie Danforth) and Hannah (Matt White); his stepsons, Christopher Altman and Timothy Altman (Renée LeFevre); his nieces, Stephanie Casale and Jennifer Glockner; and his grandchildren, Sarah Downey, Naomi, Lila, Carina, Sahalie Brightman, Amaya Altman and Parker Presby.
