He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bateman and Jacqueline Bateman (Desnoyer). He is survived by: his wife Leslie Ann Bateman (Mackelfresh); his daughter Katie; his daughter-in-law Angela Bateman (Cobar); his grandchildren, Anabell and Margaret; and his brothers, Matthew, John and Steve. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
