He is survived by: his wife Jane Hamel (Coveney); his close friend Fred; his children, Caitlyn Hamel and Ryan Hamel (Jaci) of Southborough; his siblings, Carol Long (Wayne) of Southborough, Bill Hamel (Kathy) of Bedford, Steve Hamel (Carol) of Falmouth, Chuck Hamel of Wendell and David Hamel; his in-laws, Bob, Paula Coveney of Franklin, Ed, Donna Coveney of Cape Cod, Ray and Anne Coveney of Kansas City; and his friend Pete Nanof. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in memory of Christopher Hamel, to support Dr. Glenn Hanna's Research Fund.
