He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Akers and Regina Akers of Southborough, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Akers (Patti); his son Michael Akers; his daughter-in-law Maruta Vitols; his brother Stephen Akers; and his niece Kate Akers. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
