He was predeceased by : his parents, Abdon Melendez Quiñónez and Nelly Pagan Vila; his sister Maria Melendez; and his close friend Madeline Zavala. He is survived by : his children, Abdon Melendez of Southbridge, Brenda Melendez of Southbridge and Nelly Ana Melendez of Levittown, PR; his sister Olga Melendez of Levittown, PR; and his grandchildren, Shalom, Natyarie Villanueva and Jaidyn Grace Melendez.
