With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean S. Mateychuk of Southbridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her sons, James Mateychuk and Eric Mateychuk; her sisters, Denise Rivers, Diane Brothers, Christine Stahl, Anne Stahl and Sonya Gerrin; and her parents, Jacob Stahl and Bernadette Stahl (Salois).
She is survived by: her husband David Loiselle of Southbridge; her children, Aaron Mateychuk (Jennifer) of Framingham, Erik Ricci of California, Nadine Mateychuk of Northampton, NH and Alyssa Thornley (Johnny); her stepdaughters, Kelsy Mejjiarodarte of California and Raylena Stewart; her siblings, Ronald Ledoux of Sturbridge, Samuel Stahl (Dianne), Charlie Stahl (Nancy) of Upton, David Stahl (Michele) of Katey, TX, Bruce Stahl (Anne), Jon Stahl (Sandy), Janet Towle (Everett) and Edna Dresser (Jerry) of Manchaug; her daughters-in-law, Lauren Mateychuk of Holden and Trina Mateychuk of Worcester; and her close friend Deb Howard (Terry). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home (130 Hamilton St, Southbridge, MA 01550). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
