It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith J. Hitchcock (Southbridge, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Robert "Bob" Hitchcock; her grandson Charles "Chas" Hitchcock; her brother Phil Caron; and her parents, Philias Caron and Marie Jeanne Caron (Tetreault).

She is survived by: her children, Robert Hitchcock of Charlton, Jonathan Hitchcock of Brimfield and Mary Jane Gaumond of Warren; her grandchildren, Marcel Gaumond of Warren, Macey Gaumond of Worcester and G. Beck Gaumond of West Brookfield; and her brother Roger Caron of West Brookfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that you kindly consider making a memorial donation to the St. Christopher's Women's Club, 16 Sturbridge Road, Brimfield, MA 01010 or to Hitchcock Free Academy, P.O. Box 155, Brimfield, MA 01010.

“Please accept my sincerest condolences at this time of sadness and sorrow. Judy and I worked together at Harrington Home Care in the 70’s and knew each other many years. No one worked harder than Judy and she gave her all to her family, her patients and any one she cared about. I saw her and Bob in Florida at David’s house and another time had lunch at her house in Brimfield with her and another nurse we worked with in home care. I will miss her sparkling personality and sense of humor.”
