She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Burwell (Wainwright) and Richard C. Burwell; her husband Jay Bruce Buchanan; her daughter Debra Ann Buchanan; and her sister-in-law Lynda Burwell (Mathews).
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Buchanan of Ludlow, MA, Mark (Deb Buchanan) and David (Tanya Buchanan); her grandchildren, Alex, Chiara Buchanan, John Buchanan, Andrew, Adriana Buchanan, Holly Buchanan, Taylor Buchanan, Spencer Buchanan and Kelley Buchanan-Amato; her great grandchild Noelle Amato; and her brother Richard Burwell (Dick) of Wimauma, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
