He was predeceased by: his father Russell S. DeVeau; and his sister Kathie DeVeau. He is survived by: his brother Greg DeVeau; his nephews, Greg DeVeau, Matthew and Jay Merchant; and his friends, Linda, Rich Merchant, Toni Sefter and Brian Ross.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America or a local animal welfare organization, reflecting Russ's hope for advancements in research and his lifelong compassion for animals.
