Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Goodwin Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Goodwin, Debra Young and Jody Goodwin; and her nephews, Brent Bean, Mark Yelinek and Dirk Yelinek. She is also survived by many foster children who still call her mom, many grandchildren, and a few great-grandchildren.
She's a very avid believer in organ donation as she received a liver transplant at Miami Transplant Center in 1995.
