He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Porter and Lorraine Porter (Bonnette); and his sister Stephanie Pikora. He is survived by: his children, Beth Cass (Brandon) of Barre, Guilia Herrick (Jeffrey Castellanos) of Oakham, Michael Porter, Jr. of Gainsboro, TN and Joseph Porter of Fitchburg; his grandchildren, Taylah, Adalyn, Garrett, Nolan, William (Liam), Genevieve, Tanner and Luca; his siblings, Edwina Lewandowski (Michael) of Somerset, Valerie Krogul (Michael) and Marc Porter (Behrokh); and his brother-in-law Dennis Pikora.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Spencer Country Inn (500 Main St, Spencer, MA 01562).
