He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slater and Sicily Slater; his wife Patricia; and his brother Ken Slater. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Slater and Chris Slater (Katie); and his grandsons, Jack and Charlie Slater.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A repast will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the John Boyle O'Reilly Club (33 Progress Ave, Springfield, MA 01104).
