We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2022, at the age of 76, Albert D. Carter of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Troy, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Elizabeth Finney Carter and Hennie Thomas Carter; his siblings, Henry Carter, Edward Carter, Rudolf Carter, Eloise Rodgers (Carter), Lenora Jackson (Carter) and Kate Daniels (Carter); and his grandson Jason-Issac Duvron Byrd.

He is survived by: his wife Mordia Jean Huddleston-Carter; his children, Victoria Huddleston, Kennedy Huddleston (Marjorie) and Roshell Huddleston-Astwood (Karl); his siblings, Edgar Carter and Nell Dixon (Carter); his grandchildren, Kennedy Keon Huddleston, N'Dea Braxton, Noelani Gabriel Holt (Charity) and Zachariah Huddleston; and his great grandchild Kwalique Byrd. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation or the United Negro College Fund.
