He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances Patterson (Cheeks); and his children, Ronnie McGowan and Linda McGowan. He is survived by: his daughters, Rev. Gail Green of Springfield and Amanda Alexander of Springfield; and his brothers, Robert Patterson and Marvin Patterson of Pineland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many friends.
