With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexandria Chance Carrasquillo of Springfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 29. She is survived by: her daughter Phoenix Rose Alfano; her parents, Jeanne Fish and Benjamin R. Carrasquillo; her grandparents, Iris and Alejandro Carrasquillo; her siblings, Natalie Fish, Kathleen Bates, Raymond Sanches, Ashley Cruz, Mariah Patterson, Gianna Rose Szafranski and Micheal Angel Nieves; her godmother Alicia Figueroa; her aunts and uncles, Cindy Fish, Linda Bigelow, Suzanne Arsenault, Eliza Macitis, Jasmin Carrasquillo, Alexis Carrasquillo, Maribel Montanez, Carmencita Lopez, Jenny Montanez, Marixsa Quintana, Cisco Sampson, Kim Fish Sr., James Fish, Israel Montanez and Gilberto Mejias; and her friend Ron Cauldron.
In honor of Alex's life, the family has made a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and encourages compassion, openness, and support for those navigating trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges.
