It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice M. Gilligan (Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gilmartin and Alice Gilmartin (Crane); her husband Maurice Thomas Gilligan Jr. (Whitey); and her sisters, Nancy Gilmartin and Jean Donahoe.
She is survived by: her children, Edward T. Gilligan of Feeding Hills, Jean Achatz (Pierce Keefe) of Enfield and Kristen Montagna (Frank) of Feeding Hills; her grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Briana (Frank), Rian, Tyler, Colin, Alyssa, Connor and Vinny; her great grandchild Eliana; and her friends, Roland, Linda Benjamin, Robert, Arlene Browning, George and Sheila Kelly.
