It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angel L. Rivera (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Angel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Felix Nieves; and his brother Felix Cotto. He is survived by: his mother Paula Rivera; and his siblings, Carlos Rivera, Lourdes Cotto and Rosa Cotto.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield Inc. (426 Bay St, Springfield, MA 01109).
