She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Van Tassel; her daughter Karen Lawson; and her children-in-law, Debbie Van Tassel and Stan Lawson. She is survived by: her siblings, Diana and Honore Tremblay; her close friends, Peggy Trase, Ellie Nolan and Jan White; her children, Philip Van Tassel, Gary Van Tassel (Maureen) and Janet Van Tassel (Barry O'Kane); and her grandchildren, Alan Van Tassel (Jennifer), Keri Albano (Chris), Jason Van Tassel (Stacy), Eric Van Tassel (Amanda) and Courtney O'Kane. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
