He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Alvaro and Rosina Alvaro (Riggio); and his siblings, Concettina Nicolosi, Giuseppe Alvaro and Aldo Alvaro.
He is survived by: his family Tony; his wife Geraldine Alvaro (Placanica) of West Springfield; his daughters, Delores Alvaro of East Longmeadow, ElisaMarie Alvaro of Springfield and Stephanie Slattery (Derek) of Longmeadow; and his grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Sadie and Hailey.
