She is survived by: her children, Gary Rocky Piteo (Melissa), Debra Chapdelaine (David) and Barbara Colby Crooks; her grandchildren, Hannah, Colin Chapdelaine, Christopher Newton and Michael Newton (Cierra Hookailo); her great grandchildren, Rowan and Jasper; and her siblings, Edward Hannett and Mary Clark.
