With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda L. DeFilio of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brenda L. DeFilio to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her father Luigi DeFilio. She is survived by : her mother Pearl M. DeFilio (Derosia) of Springfield; her son Louis R. "Louie" Brown (Nikki Wheeler) of Springfield; her close friend Paul J. Pappelardo of East Longmeadow; her sister Bonnie Dias of Ludlow; her nieces and nephews, Audra and Alan Dias of Ludlow; and her great-niece Rosalia. She is also survived by cousins, numerous friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101-6307.
