Brian Michael Wanat Obituary

We bid farewell to Brian Michael Wanat (Springfield, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 16, 2025 at the age of 53. Brian Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Leo T. Wanat; and his son Liam. He is survived by: his mother Joanne M. Wanat (Manning); his daughters, Cori M. Wanat and Breann M. Wanat; his close friend Brenda L. Davis; his siblings, Colonel Joseph T. Wanat (Kathleen) and Colleen M. Ramirez (Marcos); his siblings' children, Madeleine, Colin, Nolan, Rayna and Payton; and his brother Michael B. White. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends, including his best friend.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
