She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgilio Morales and Ramona Rivera; her husband Efrain Amaro Sr.; her sons, Luis Latorre and Jaime Amaro; and her sister Eleonor Morales.
She is survived by: her sons, Efrain "Frank" Amaro Jr. (Joseline Amaro) and Raul Latorre (Belinda Dowd); her siblings, Inez Morales and Luis Morales (Leticia Morales); and her brother-in-law Jorge Fariñas. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
