Carmen Rivera Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Rivera (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hercilia Rodriguez Zayas Cotto and Rafael Baez; her husband Juan Rivera; her siblings, Orlando, Hector, Angel and Rebecca; and her grandson Joey Cannini.

She is survived by: her close friend Jose Rolon; her children, Juan Rivera (Deona), Maria Rivera Brown (Ben), Jannell Cash, Wilfredo Rivera and Mike Rivera (Nancy); and her siblings, Jose Rodriguez, Raquel Rodriguez, Iris Cotto, Betsy Rodriguez, Marilyn Cotto, Doris Santos and Alma Estrada. She is also survived by grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren.
