He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Platten and Theresa Platten (Urbansky); and his wife Elizabeth (Quinn). He is survived by: his children, Jeff Platten, John C. Platten of Stoughton, MA and Kim Sullivan (Scott) of Portsmouth, RI; his sister Donna Platten; his daughter-in-law Corrie Sutter; and his grandchildren, Elijah, Keegan, Hayden, Morgan, Mia, John and Trinity.
