She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma V. Smith and Bennie J. Henderson; her husband Harold; her friend Ruby Reed; her brother Bennie Henderson; and her aunts and uncles, Miriam Dorothea "Doddie" Johnson, Harriet "Becky" Jarrett, Eleanor "Weezie" Nicholas, Clinton Eugene "Pete" Smith and Jim Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl L. Kingston (Jones); her friend Cheryl; her grandchildren, Jasmine J. Kingston and Aubrey J. Kingston; her sister Lettie E. Wilson; and her cousins, Marian, Norman, Gloria Gatling, Jackie Covington, Clarence Nicholas, Daryl Nicholas and Bryan Nicholas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
