With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Atwell (Springfield, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on July 4, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Atwell (Karpinski) and Clifton Atwell. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Atwell (Zilewicz); his son Chad; his daughter-in-law Dorotka; and his grandchildren, Rylan and Teigan.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
