He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen McHugh and Dorothy McHugh (Higgins). He is survived by: his wife Nancy McHugh (Aller) of Palmer; and his sons, Brian McHugh (Heidi) of Readsboro and Scott McHugh (Stephanie) of Wilbraham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sampson Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129).
