It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deloris R. Jiles (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Poitier and Martha Poitier (Perkins); and her husband Robert Lee Jiles. She is survived by : her children, Lisa Borders (Julian), Anthony W and Kevin Jiles (Ine) of Springfield; and her brother Willie Poitier of Springfield. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alden Street Baptist Church (649 State St, Springfield, MA 01109). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
