She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Gibbs and Rose Ella Gibbs; her husband Albert Nicholas; and her sister Vivian Randolph. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Robertson (Lyn) of Stockbridge, GA, Carol Nicholas of Florence, AZ, Laurie Nicholas of Loganville, GA, Donna Casey of Springfield and Alva Arnold of Ludlow; and her sisters, Virginia Burton and Patricia Howard of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). Viewing was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sampson's Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129).
