He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Dalton and Isabelle Dalton (Ellis); and his brother David L. Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Carole R. Dalton (Caricari); his children, Guy Dalton (Ann), Stephanie Vezina (Paul) and Scott Dalton (Shannon); his grandchildren, Tim (Tova), Paul (Liv), Richard (Maranda), Matt, Brandon (Marie), Samantha (Curtis), Carolyn (Brandon), Jack, Griffin and Owen; his great grandchildren, Paislee, Remi, Millie, Jett B, Lenni and Sam; and his nieces, Jennifer Lawrence and Lynn Anderson. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 8:45 AM and at 10:00 AM.
