With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Earlene Phillips (Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Little River, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilson, and Pencey Wilson, Sr. (Bellamy); her stepson Henderson Peterkin; and her siblings, John Jr., Ivory, Ann, Rose and Corine.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Phillips; her stepdaughters, Lorraine Celeste Waterman, Heather Phillips and Denise Phillips; her grandchildren, Kenya Overton, Jewel Waterman, Henderson David Lester Peterkin, Zanelle Waterman and Sharaine Waterman; her great grandchildren, Judah, Aaron and Eden Waterman; and her sister-in-law Vivian Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
