It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmond Joseph Bergeron (Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Dover, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 5, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Apollinaire Bergeron and Blanche Bergeron (Labbe); his stepmother Jean (Godbout); his great-nephew Owen Fredette; his grandson Caleb Warren; and his great grandchild Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Bergeron (Nissen); his children, Christine Mendez, Diane Bergeron (Matt Warren), Karen Doerflein (Mark), David Bergeron (Jen Anllo) and Jon Bergeron (Glenda); his grandchildren, Zachary, Sophie, Alexander, Nicholas, Malachi, Nathan, Paige, Adriana, Joshua, Colton, Ava, Kiara and Grayson; and his siblings, Doris, Lorraine and Paul. He is also survived by his 7 nieces and nephews; many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels (7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (395 Chestnut St, Springfield, MA 01104).
